Crane Manufacturing Welder Fabricator

Full-Time Position offered with a growing NZ business in Silverdale, HBC.  We are looking for a permanent Welder Fabricator to join our busy Gantry Crane manufacturing team,
NZ RESIDENT APPLICATIONS TO APPLY ONLY PLEASE.
This role will require:

  • Minimum 3 Yrs experience as a Welder Fabricator (MIG & ARC/STICK) with current certifications
  • Experience with design drawings and competent with maths
  • Preference for candidate to have experience of fabrication of structural steel and site installation (including marking out)
  • Preferred but not essential to have experience of overhead gantry cranes, rigging and site work including working at heights
  • The ability to engage with customers when on site in a polite manner
  • Ability to understand design challenges and provide solutions to resolve
  • Awareness of quality assurance throughout a manufacturing process
  • Not essential but would be of value to have some mechanical knowledge
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • NZ Drivers license for a manual vehicle
  • A positive & hardworking attitude with a reliable work history

Gantry Crane Service Technician (Electrical)

Full time position offered with a dynamic & professional NZ business in Silverdale, HBC.  We are looking for a NZ Registered Industrial Electrician to join our expanding Gantry Crane Servicing & Breakdown team as a Service Technicians.  Top rates paid for right candidate!
The role will require:

  • The ability to engage with customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Industrial electrical and mechanical servicing experience across a range of Gantry Cranes preferred (including performing repairs and maintenance).   However strong industrial electrical knowledge alone will be considered for the right candidate
  • Fault finding for crane breakdowns, experience with VSD & PLC would be valuable
  • Fit and kit out new Crane builds with electrical wiring componentry
  • A positive & hardworking attitude
  • Specific company training will be provided for our company products and on our preventative maintenance programme
